Watch Your Child Build Focus, Confidence, and Control — with Proven, Research-Backed Strategies

Living with ADHD can make childhood feel harder than it should be — focus slips away, emotions run high, and simple routines can turn into daily struggles. At Proven Relief Therapy, Dr. Alex Tice helps children and their families better understand ADHD and develop practical tools to improve focus, behavior, and confidence at home and at school.

Therapy here is structured, evidence-based, and focused on results — not quick fixes or endless talking, but concrete strategies that make everyday life smoother and more manageable for both children and parents.

Understanding ADHD in Children

ADHD (Attention-Deficit/Hyperactivity Disorder) isn’t about laziness or lack of discipline — it’s a neurological difference in how the brain processes attention, motivation, and impulse control.
It can show up as distractibility, restlessness, forgetfulness, or emotional reactivity, and it often leads to frustration, conflict, and self-doubt.

Dr. Tice works with clients to identify how ADHD shows up in their lives and to create personalized strategies for improvement, whether the challenges involve school, work, parenting, or relationships.

Common areas of focus include:

  • Difficulty focusing or staying organized

  • Procrastination or poor time management

  • Impulsivity or emotional outbursts

  • Relationship or communication struggles

  • Overwhelm and burnout

  • Co-occurring anxiety, depression, or OCD
